Treehouse Psychology & Wellness
Treehouse Psychology & Wellness was established in March 2012 by Psychologists Emma Ainsley and Kyriana Fountas.
Treehouse, our name, is inspired by the qualities seen in nature and the stages of change and growth typical of its elements. This natural basis reflects the grounded foundation of our psychology practice, assisting with life transitions, concerns and changes that occur for people over the course of their lives.
Treehouse psychology practice offers a friendly and secure environment for you to view your life from an alternate perspective.
Analogous to climbing the Treehouse ladder, we aim to assist you in progressing your personal goals through placing strong importance on therapeutic connection and creative exploration.
Our Psychologists have experience in a wide range of presenting issues and we welcome contact to discuss your circumstances.

Emma Ainsley
BA(Hons) MPsych(For) MAPS
Emma Ainsley is registered as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). Emma has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Honours and a Master of Psychology (Forensic).
Kyriana Fountas
BHSc(Hons) MPsych(Clin) MAPS
Kyriana Fountas is registered as a Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). Kyriana has a Bachelor of Health Sciences with Honours and a Master of Psychology (Clinical).

ADMINISTRATION
Making the decision to see a Psychologist is a courageous and significant step in addressing the life challenge you are facing.Treehouse Psychology & Wellness welcomes enquiries about the services available, referral options, fee schedule, and appointment availability. We aim to provide you with a prompt and considerate response.
FEES & PAYMENTS
Our consultation fees reflect the type and length of appointment. Please contact us, and we will be able to answer your specific questions and forward our current fee schedule.
Payment of account is accepted by cash, cheque, EFTPOS, Medicare and HICAPS.
All accounts are to be settled on the day of appointment unless prior arrangements have been made.
FEES & CANCELLATIONS
At Treehouse, we understand there are unplanned circumstances that occur. Please advise of a cancellation or rebooking.
The following cancellation fees may apply:
With more than 24 hours notice: no fee.
With less than 24 hours notice: 50% of fee. If we are able to fill your appointment there will be no charge.
REFERRAL PATHWAYS
Medicare
Referrals from a GP through a Mental Health Care Plan can entitle you to a Medicare rebate (for up to ten sessions per calendar year). Please visit your Doctor to see if you are eligible. Medicare requires full fee payment on the day, with the rebate paid directly into your Cheque or Savings account on the spot using the Medicare EasyClaim terminal.
Pregnancy Support Counselling is also available with a Medicare rebate (for up to three 30+ minute sessions for a current pregnancy or one which occurred within the last 12 months).
Please arrange to forward your referral prior to the day of your appointment or bring it on the day.
Private Health Insurance
Appointments paid through Private Health Insurance do not require a Doctor referral. Most funds, with Psychology covered, will provide a refund on part of the fee to an annual limit. Private health rebates and limits can be determined prior to your visit by contacting your health fund.
Rebates can be claimed instantly at the appointment through the HICAPS terminal, followed by the remaining gap payment.
